Mt. Diablo Fires Forces Evacuation

The craziness of the Mt.Diablo fire is causing a Bay Area uproar tonight. As now the fire has spread to over 800 acres on the mountain, the fire in which broke out at 2 p.m. local time today.

The story is not only effecting the people living near the mountain or near the Danville area, but the students who attend local high schools, as the application twitter has blown up with students wondering if they will have school.

The fire is raging on strong on the east side of the mountain and many in the Contra Costa area have been force out of their homes. As the fire has been only 10% contained, home owners will not be allowed back to their houses, fearing for the valuables they left behind.

Homes on Curry Canyon Road and Oak Hill Lane are under mandatory evacuation.  The response team fighting this blaze includes: 25 engines, 4 air tankers, 2 helicopters, 6 crews, 4 bulldozers, per CalFire. They suggest everyone who has not been effected yet to keep themselves updated and on the lookout and to all ways, be safe.
